Wednesday 6 November 10.30am – 2.30pm, University of Tasmania, Inveresk Campus
Join The Centre for Sustainable Architecture with Wood (CSAW) and The Tasmania Forestry Hub at a discussion investigating ways to support resilience and agility as the forestry industry transitions to an increased reliance on plantation hardwood.
CSAW Researchers are developing an application for AFWI funding and are seeking Tasmanian industry involvement to make sure the project is grounded in the research, development and extension needs of the forest and wood products sector.
The Hub will discuss their latest report – A Case Study: Commercial Building with Solid Wood Products in Tasmania, developed in partnership with CSAW researchers and participants will have the opportunity to collaborate on developing the Hub’s Resource + Value Chain Project for 2024-2026.
