New Workforce Report Released

The Tasmanian forestry industry faces workforce challenges, including skills shortages, competition from other sectors, and a lack of structured training and recruitment pathways. This was Phase 1 of a larger project that was focused on engaging industry stakeholders to assess current practices, identify workforce gaps and opportunities and provide recommendations for strategies addressing identified priorities. These recommendations will provide the basis of project’s Phase 2, the development and delivery of pilot projects in collaboration with industry stakeholders.
