The October Hub Update highlights the launch of the FWPA Economic Contribution Project, being delivered by BDO in partnership with the Hub to measure and communicate the value of Tasmania’s forestry industry. The project will engage businesses across the value chain to provide data and insights that help build a clearer picture of the sector’s economic impact.

The Update also features the Hub’s Timber in Commercial Buildings case study, showcased on the global stage at Expo 2025 Osaka, and ongoing Workforce Project activities exploring culture, belonging and inclusion across Tasmania’s forestry sector.
